Welcome to The Dive Pool

The Dive Pool is a purpose made Scuba Diving and Snorkelling Training Pool based near Falmouth in Cornwall. The 2.2m deep, 2.4m wide and 5m long training pool can comfortably take up to 8 divers while skills training.

The pool is not heated but does have solar heating which can raise the water temperature by up to 4C above ambient temperatures.

The Dive Pool also has a small lowerable platform at one end to create a small shallow working area of around 1.5m, if required.

From the entry platform students can practice Giant stride entries as well as seated entries. There is a centre post ladder for water exits, similar to those found on dive boats around the world. Divers can either exit fully ktted with fins on or de-kit, passing their gear up and then climbing the ladder.

We have several props that are free to use for underwater photography training as well as underwater toys for the younger contingent. The toys include an underwater frisbee, a Toypedo and weighted dolphins for snorkelling recovery practice.  A small inflatable boat can be used for teaching water entries and exits from a RIB, if required.

The Dive Pool is available for hire all year round subject to our terms of use.
